Long ago, Dongfang Qing Cang of the Moon Tribe became a heartless monster to gain immense power. He killed his father and took control of the Moon Tribe, leading his soldiers on a path of destruction that threatened Shuiyuntian (the immortal fairy realm), Cangyan Sea (the Moon Tribe), and Yunmeng Lake (the mortal world).
To stop Dongfang Qing Cang and his army from causing more destruction, the first God of War of Shuiyuntian sacrificed herself and sealed their army and Dongfang Qing Cang's primordial spirit away in Haotian Tower under the immortal bonds of the Haotian Matrix. However, if Dongfang Qing Cang were to break free from the tower and his primordial spirit was restored, the world would once again be in grave danger. Legend says that only the missing Goddess of Xishan can prevent this catastrophe.
30,000 years later, there is a disturbance in the Haotian Matrix and a chance encounter between Orchid, a low-ranking flower fairy, and Dongfang Qing Cang inside Haotian Tower sets off a chain of events that could change the fate of the world.
